eQuest+, our web-based screening platform, allows clients to submit requests and receive results in real-time. To speed your hiring decision, results are provided back as they are fulfilled, with easy-to-interpret grading based on automated analysis of your organization’s particular hiring standards. For companies with decentralized locations, that means having the benefit of established adjudication criteria in place across all locations and requesters. Multiple short-cut features also conserve time spent on ordering searches so you can focus your resources elsewhere.
eQuest+ can be customized to meet your organization’s unique requirements. Our system features an internal message board, and allows for easy development of client branding and customized look-and-feel alterations. When you login to eQuest+, the system detects who you are and automatically pre-selects the services you typically request. From there, simply fill out the applicant information and the requested screenings will be conducted based on your organization’s specific processing preferences. Using the unique case ID, you can view report status 24/7, and only those individuals authorized to view the final report will have access to do so.

GIS is 100% committed to maintaining the best and most stringent security processes to ensure that confidential client and consumer data is kept that way. As a Consumer Reporting Agency, we make sure the data security and protection measures we take employ the most advanced, proven technologies and methodologies available in dealing with highly sensitive information. We received high marks from our SecureWorks Credit Bureau Security Audit, and conduct regular internal audits of our employees and court researchers to make certain our stringent standards are in place. We also utilize intrusion detection systems, and perform scheduled attack and penetration testing, all to ensure that no breach vulnerabilities exist.
To protect client data, we employ 128-bit data encryption for data transmission, have redundant firewalls employed in a high availability configuration, and encrypt all database data that is stored on tape during regular backups. GIS also has a published physical destruction policy that includes shredding, DOD compliant disk wipes, and other necessary methods to maintain confidentiality of data. Also, customers can only view data within their own account utilizing their unique password, contingent upon having the viewing rights to do so.
Our commitment to security is also mirrored in the way we operate. Every employee and contractor that works for us is screened thoroughly using the same trusted background screenings we provide our clients. We also feature regular security awareness trainings, and our facilities feature advanced security precautions that include biometric keycard, fingerprint access, and CCTV video surveillance.
